Irish Proverb  Merryn was fortunate enough to be born into a family where dreams, healing and psychic abilities were all encouraged and developed.Her mother, Maureen Treanor, was a professional clairvoyant. Maureen was the well known seer who worked on both sides of the Atlantic; she was also the resident psychic in Kensington Market- London for nearly two decades. Merryn gave psychic readings for over thirty years and taught classes in England, New Zealand, America and other countries. Radio CarolineIn the early 1960’s Merryn met Ronan O’Rahilly who was the founder of the first pirate radio ship in the UK, Radio Caroline, which began broadcasting popular music off the east coast of England. This was the beginning of the end of the BBC’s radio monopoly. Merryn and her mother served as psychic advisors to Radio Caroline during those turbulent years. Healing And Nutrition Merryn always had a fascination with the holistic approach to life and became interested in many different methods of healing and nutrition. This knowledge would play a pivotal role in her life in the future During the 1970’s she traveled extensively to various parts of the world. Several of these journeys were made with her friend Teresa Hale, who also had a interest in healing and eventually went on to establish the Hale Clinic which has become one of the largest holistic medical facilities in Europe. In the 1980’s after a five year sojourn in America she returned home to England to nurse her mother who was seriously ill. Using her knowledge of alternative medicine and diet she was able to help prolong her mother's life for many years beyond the original prognosis given by the medical establishment. Fortuitous Meetings Over the next ten years Merryn re-established a successful practice in London as a psychic counselor. Due to a fortuitous meeting with a client named Sahar Huneidi, she began teaching once again. In 1993 on a trip to New Mexico and California she met her future husband, moved to America and now resides in New York State. Merryn now runs her very successful on-line magazine MerlianNews.com, Podcasts regularly and writes; she no longer teaches or does readings. |
