Where should I go to study Meditation?
Finding a local meditation or yoga center is often found in magazines at your local Health Store. Also see resources page. Here are two other options that might be helpful.
The Transcendental Meditation Program
This is an effective technique, and helpful in eliminating stress, promoting good health and increasing creativity. Most important, it is helpful in obtaining inner peace. The TM Programme is very professional with teachers all over the world. In the New York area they can be contacted at 212- 779-9933. Their web site is www.tm.org, where they have amassed a large amount of information on how meditation effects us on every level of mind, body and spirit. A good place to start.
If you cannot get out for some reason or other, Sogyal Rinpoche, author of "The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying," has set up RIGPA Distance Learning Programme called "Discovering Natural Mind" The package contains the videotapes, audiotapes, photos and the manual. It is of excellent quality. www.rigpa.org. Sogyal Rinpoche also holds Retreats for every level of student.
What can I do to develop my intuition?
Start to journal your dreams which in turn will give you inner guidance. I suggest you read "Dreamwork for the Soul- A Spiritual Guide to Dream Interpretation" written by Rosemary Ellen Guiley.
It is an intelligent dream book, and one of my favorites. Also, read Sahar's article on dreams in PS-Magazine, and see www.dr-dream.com for further information. Equally important is to begin some form of meditation. Meditation is one of the fastest ways to open up your intuitive self and to hasten your soul development.
How did you teach people to co-create their futures?
This was done on many levels, one of which is quite simply by 'Intention'.
The moment we have a strong "Intention", the wheels are automatically set in motion. This is why the quote by Basil King, "Be Bold and Mighty Forces Will Come To Your Aid", is so powerful.
I helped people define their intention, and then give instruction on how to focus, and move around in time and space and actually manifest the future they have chosen, into this reality.
That is why it was so important for students to bring together their wants and desires in combination with the spiritual aspects of the soul. Otherwise one is just coming from a place of accumulation, mentally emotionally and materially.
Once we spiritually understand the power of co-creation, we gain far more than we ever thought possible.
How did you teach the 22 Major Arcana of The Tarot?
I explained the symbolism of each card and taught the divinatory and spiritual meanings.
I then attached a meditation and relevant subject matter relating to the card and instructed each student on how to arrive at their own interpretation.
There are many different levels to work on simultaneously and it all comes with practice. Often the information given by beginners is quite astounding. They even surprise themselves.
Everyone is intuitive and psychic. I think it is important to understand that when one begins to develop and evolve spiritually, all these other attributes begin to manifest naturally. Then the ego doesn't take over, and we can use our abilities to become more compassionate and understanding while helping others on their journey.
Do you still give tarot readings?
No, I now teach via my Podcasts and writing.
