This month’s flower is the Morning Glory.  With the arrival of the month of September, we enter into the ninth month of the year in the Gregorian calendar and one of four Gregorian months with the length of 30 days.

The equinox named the autumnal equinox in the northern hemisphere and occurs on or around September 21. In the pagan wheel of the year the autumn equinox is called Mabon.
