We are deeply shocked and saddened by yet another tragedy.  Hurricane Katrina has caused heavy damage along the southern Gulf Coast of the United States which incorporates Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. The aftermath of the devastation is beyond people's worst nightmare.   New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin,   issued what he called a "desperate SOS" for help for literally thousands of refugees who are struggling with the aftermath of the storm.

These areas have been left with no power, no drinking water, and any food supplies are dwindling rapidly.

Help is needed immediately and if you would like to help the relief efforts please take a look at the links at the bottom of the page.

We include in this article  a statement from  Roland Comtois a renowed pyschic medium who has kindly offered his services to help in this disaster. 

"Dear Friends,

Again as a community we face  of time of great suffering.  Many thousands of our family are in pain and in need.  The recent hurricane in the gulf has implanted such devastation and ruin.  But we can not get angry.  We must hold the energy of love for those in need.  I have decided to open my center from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM on September 2, 2005 for a time of channeling our love and healing to those in need.

Together in holding that loving space we can change despair to peace.  Join me and many others as we come together to pray, to hold dear the sacredness of life, and to send our loving thoughts to those in need. 

If you would like to bring a non-perisable item, please do so.  I will gladly ship anything collected to the appropriate areas.
